Final Knowsley Community Conversations Workshop
Final Knowsley Community Conversations
Invitation to the final Knowsley Community Conversations Workshop- Tuesday 2nd March, 6-8pm
You’re invited to attend the final in a series of workshops that have taken place with people from Knowsley looking at how the community has been responding to the pandemic. We’ve run several events so far and had lively and informative discussions with people and organisations across the borough about life in the pandemic and how the community has responded.
In this final event we will be specifically looking at how the community can build on its successes post-pandemic and address some of the issues that have emerged during it. We’ll be asking how the council and community sector can work differently to get things done more effectively, building on what we’ve learnt from the past year. We want to ensure that the community’s voice continues to play an important role in these conversations and are inviting all those who have been actively involved in the community’s response to join us.
The event will be on Tuesday 2nd March, 6-8pm, via Zoom.
More details are in the attached pdf. You can sign-up via this Eventbrite link, or by responding to this email: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/knowsley-community-conversations-final-workshop-tickets-141128014691
Spaces are limited, and will go on a first come, first served basis.
We really hope you can make it!

Prescot Town Council have agreed to support local children who do not have access to a laptop at home to enable home learning during the pandemic and beyond by introducing it’s own Laptop Recycling Project.

New playground at Brown’s Field ?
Prescot Town Council are working with the Friends of KGV Brown’s Field and Knowsley Council to obtain funding to replace the old junior play ground at Brown’s Field with a new exciting space.
We need your help to provide a persuasive argument to the funders that this is something we need on the site, so please spare us 5 minutes to give us your views on the Playground and the wider master plan for the site through this survey.
https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/TJY7SBX
The Friends have already raised £10,000 towards what we hope will be around a £70,000 to £80,000 project. Below is an idea of what the new play ground could look like.
The Master Plan
The master plan covers the whole site and has been developed using feedback we have received to date. As with the playground we will use your feedback to help attract external funding to make the plan a reality.
