Eaton Street Park is one of two public spaces within the Town of Prescot and has been awarded the prestigious Green Flag Award.
Eaton Street Park is managed and maintained by Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council. Prescot Town Council manage and maintain the Pavilion building within the park. The park benefits from:
- Toddler play space
- 8-13 play space
- Wildflower trail
- Picnic benches and seating
- Events Space
- Modern Pavilion Building
In September 2015 the Town Council worked alongside Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council and the Friends of Eaton Street Park to successfully apply for funding from Ibstock Cory and The Cory Environment Trust to replace the old dilapidated bowling pavilion on site and make some landscaping changes to help enhance the visitor offer at the site. The Friends of Eaton Street provide an open invitation to their tea in the park sessions every Sunday (except Winter) from 1pm till 3pm at the Pavilion and operate a Community Food Club every Wednesday from 11.30am – 1.30pm.
