A history of Lancashire in 70 Objects
We are hoping to have an object from Prescot Museum’s collection added to an exciting new museum trail project called ‘A History of Lancashire in 70 Objects’ and we need your help!
Museums around the County Palatine have been invited to put forward objects of importance to illustrate the history of Lancashire – although we are in Merseyside now, we used to be Lancashire, and as such we are eligible to enter – we need you to choose which object you think is best.
There are 5 shortlisted objects from the museum collection (see attachments) John Bull watch, Saggerson & Co files, B.I. Cables toy, William Preston hands, Private Dancer watch.
Please have a look through the attached images with descriptions, then go to the survey website and vote for your favourite!
