Prescot has two main shopping areas, The Town Council and Cables Retail Park, however there many other goods and services provided at various other locations around the Town a full list of goods and services and business that provide them is available below.
Prescot Town Centre has exploded into life in recent years with many new businesses arriving to compliment those of longer standing. The Town Centre offers a traditional high street experience with a wide variety of both high street names such as Boots and Home Bargains to independent boutiques, run by local providers offering bespoke goods and services, along with independent bars, restaurants and cafes that provide a unique experience for the Town. Many of the shops have recently benefited from Heritage Lottery Funding which as helped to return frontages back to a time before steel shutters were introduced and has provided an improved aesthetic within the Town Centre. The Town Centre is mainly comprised of Eccleston Street, Leyland Street, Atherton Street and High Street, a full map with car parks is provided below.
At the heart of the historic town is Prescot Shopping Centre, accessible from Eccleston Street for pedestrians or Aspinall Street for cars and other vehicles (free parking). Stores in the mall include Willowbrook Hospice Charity Shop, Showering’s delicatessens, Shush, Card Factory, the Post Office and Home Bargains

Situated in close proximity to the Town Centre, Cables Shopping Park comprises of 14 units offering a variety of goods and services common to many shopping parks, those include Next, Outfit, M&S Simply Food, JD Sports, Tesco, Argos, Boots, Pets at Home, B&M, Subway, Carphone Warehouse, TK Maxx, McDonald’s and EE.
